Supporting children and young people with mental health challenges in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Who I Work With

I provide counselling and therapeutic support for:

  • Children and young people (ages 7–18)

  • Care-experienced children living in residential or foster care

  • Young people struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, or attachment challenges

  • Neurodiverse children (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, sensory processing)

  • Adults seeking a calm, confidential space to work through emotional difficulties

How Sessions Work

  • Child-Led & Creative – sessions may use play, drawing, games, or sandtray therapy to help children express feelings safely

  • Safe & Confidential – everything we talk about is private, except where safeguarding law requires me to share concerns

  • Flexible & Supportive – sessions can focus on what is most urgent or important that day, whether that’s feelings, behaviour, or a specific event

  • Anxiety, low mood, and stress

  • Trauma and post-traumatic experiences

  • Bereavement, grief, and loss

  • Emotional regulation and self-esteem

  • Relationship difficulties, including peer conflict and bullying

Working with Professionals

I work closely with schools, social workers, and residential care teams to support each young person’s care plan.

Where needed, I can offer input into staff approaches, behaviour plans, and emotional regulation strategies

Specialized support for children aged 6 to 18.
