Counselling Prices – Therapy Session Fees & Packages

Standard Session Fees (Section):

  • Individual Adult Session (50 minutes): £60 per session

  • Child/Adolescent Session (50 minutes): £50 per session

  • Couples or Family Session (60 minutes): £100 per session (if applicable; if Martin doesn’t do couples, omit this).

Package Deals: On request

We believe in being open about fees and policies. Below you’ll find the costs for sessions with Martin, as well as information on payment methods, packages, and cancellations.

All sessions are typically 50 minutes long (often called a “therapy hour”). Longer sessions can be arranged pro-rata if needed – please discuss this with me.

Payment Methods :
Payment is due at the time of each session (or in advance for a package as described above). Currently, I accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash or Cheque: You can pay in cash at the end of an in-person session. Cheques are accepted for advance payments (e.g. for packages) by arrangement.

  • Bank Transfer: Many clients prefer to pay by electronic bank transfer. I will provide my bank details on request or on your invoice. If paying per session, please complete the transfer on the day of the session. If paying for a block in advance, please reference your name in the transfer.

No Onsite Card Payments:Note: I do not take card payments on the website or in person at this time (no card machine or online checkout is set up). Please do not enter any payment details on this site. All payments are handled externally for security.

Additional Notes:

Free Initial Consultation: (If Martin offers this) I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for new clients to briefly discuss your needs and see if we might be a good fit. This is not a therapy session, but a chance to ask questions. There’s no obligation after the call.

Concessions:(If applicable) A limited number of concession slots are available at a reduced fee for students or those on low income. Please inquire about current availability – proof of status (like a student ID) may be required for the discounted rate
